Cars that Run on Water: Myth or Fact?

The influx of hybrid cars as a direct and responsible response to the international demand of non-petroleum based fuels that will answer to the oil crisis and the depreciating environmental condition of the word, has yielded both authentic/ effective cars and bogus/ ineffective ones. Among the most controversial hybrids are cars that run on water. This is so because there are two claims in this kind of a hybrid car. First is that cars could actually move using water alone as fuel. Second is that water could be used as an additive to a little gasoline in order to run a car properly.

Those who claim that cars that run on water alone is possible believe that a rearrangement of water molecules could provide for enough energy that's enough to run a car.

There are hybrid cars that do run with hydrogen as their fuel. This is possible given that hydrogen atoms could actually be mobilized in order for it to produce enough energy to successfully run a car. This innovation became the model for cars that run on water. This is so because every water molecule has two atoms of hydrogen. Yet, the question there is what happens to the oxygen molecule?

This is where the myth of cars running on water alone could be established. The first thing to consider is that the claimed science behind running cars solely using water as fuel follows a rearrangement of molecular positioning. This means that instead of water's usual molecular arrangement, i.e. H2O, the cars use these atoms in its gaseous form which is HHO. HHO when combusted could actually heat up to beyond the usual melting point. Yet, when it comes to cars, one will have to ask if, indeed heat is enough to keep it running. This is a possibility yet, no such vehicular engineering has ever been developed perfectly in order to sustain the usual performance of any respectable car. So, as of the moment, the answer will have to be no. As a direct consequence to this, it is indeed true that there are no cars that run on water alone as of the moment.

Yet, this fact doesn't mean that water cannot be used altogether. One must be aware that although cars cannot run on water alone, this does not necessarily mean that the potential of HHO cannot be utilized.

Cars that run on water may utilize HHO as an additive to minimum gasoline. This means that one will still have to use petroleum based products. Yet, this isn't actually a deterrent. In fact, the HHO gas additive is healthy for the car and for the environment

The additive actually provides for longer lasting fuel life. This happens because it burns the fuel more effectively and completely. The more fuel is used well, the more it actually lasts. What's more is that the heat produced by HHO can last longer than the ordinary combustion. This, at the end of the day, makes the car function way beyond its fuel capacity.

The increased combustion actually results to increased speed potential. If the driver is capable enough to accelerate speed properly then, he/ she will be able to move the car at increased speed.

Finally, using cars that run on water as a gasoline additive decreases emissions thus, decreasing pollutants that are released in the atmosphere. This happens with the increased heat and the total combustion.
